Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking an EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team in Hialeah, FL. You will maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, public areas, and designated spaces to support infection control.

The position is full-time with a night shift 10:30pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday and every other weekend. Compensation starts at $14.00 per hour and includes benefits such as health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to infection control standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas; handle soiled linens.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Follow PPE protocols and ensure equipment is well maintained.
• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff respectfully while protecting privacy.
• Assist with quality checks and report cleanliness or safety concerns.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection prevention protocols.
