Job summary

Loretto Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide II to join its Environmental Services Department. You will clean all areas of the hospital under the direction of the Director, Environmental Services.

The role requires cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, waiting areas and other hospital areas, with shift work including days, evenings or nights as assigned. Competitive benefits are provided to support a stable healthcare career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks in a professional manner reflecting the department's integrity.
• Cleans patient rooms, nursing units, offices and clinical areas, waiting areas and corridors.
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
• Uses and maintains cleaning equipment including floor machines.
• Transports heavy trash and hazardous waste from the hospital.
