Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. The role supports infection prevention and safety protocols and collaborates with supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

This hourly, full-time position offers medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), and opportunities for on‑the‑job growth. Prior experience is preferred but not required, with high school diploma or equivalent as a baseline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection prevention, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Supervisor; document completed work.
