Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Care Specialist to maintain a clean and safe healthcare setting. You will perform floor care tasks, operate equipment, and adhere to infection prevention protocols while supporting a culture of safety and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily floor care, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as assigned.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection prevention, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Report equipment maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work according to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Assist other EVS staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
