Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, and laundry tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection prevention protocols to support healing and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and public areas.
• Ability to follow infection prevention protocols (OSHA, CMS, and TJC).
• Capable of operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols (OSHA, CMS, TJC).
• Assist in setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Supervisor and document work.
