Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cleaning or environmental service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and products.
• Understanding of infection control and safety standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas to infection control standards.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and dusts floors and surfaces.
• Maintains floors and upholstery via stripping and refinishing as needed.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and woodwork to keep clean.
• Restocks supplies and reports shortages to ensure availability.
• Handles trash and biohazardous materials safely and disposal per safety rules.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Assists with minor repairs and notifies facilities for larger issues.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
