Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking an Environmental Services Technician PRN to maintain a safe, sanitary environment in patient and resident areas, following infection control and safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma and 6 months of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, or polishing floors; manage waste and laundry as appropriate.
• Wear protective equipment and keep storage, equipment and carts clean and organized.
• Assist in housekeeping at various locations as needed and follow program guidelines.
