Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our healthcare environment, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant space for patients, residents, and staff.

You will lead front-line EVS staff, coordinate schedules, and support the Manager with reporting and initiatives. A background in environmental services or healthcare support, plus knowledge of OSHA and CMS/TJC standards, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising environmental services or housekeeping staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, and TJC regulations.
• Ability to coordinate staffing and schedules.
• Commitment to patient/resident and staff safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS technicians, floor techs, and laundry staff on assigned shifts.
• Oversee laundry operations and infection prevention compliance.
• Inspect patient/resident rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas for quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC and other regulations.
• Coordinate daily staffing and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Train new staff and ensure ongoing staff development and compliance.
• Respond to staff and operational issues to maintain smooth operations.
