Job summary

Forefront is a healthcare-focused organization seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to manage daily EVS operations, including cleaning, laundry, and waste management. This role ensures safety and regulatory compliance and supports departmental goals by leading front-line staff and coordinating scheduling and workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in EVS, hospitality, or healthcare operations; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support EVS technicians, floor techs, and laundry staff on assigned shifts.
• Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely processing, quality control, and infection prevention compliance.
• Conduct inspections of patient/resident rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate daily staffing assignments, schedules, and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Report departmental performance, issues, and metrics to the Manager or Director.
• Train new staff and ensure ongoing staff development and compliance with organizational policies.
• Respond to staff and operational issues in real-time to maintain smooth operations.
