Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee daily EVS operations in a healthcare setting. You will supervise front-line staff, coordinate workflows, and assist leadership with reports, scheduling, and initiatives.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of infection prevention, and familiarity with healthcare regulations. Extended hours may be required; non-exempt hourly position in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (OSHA, CMS, etc.).
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS technicians, floor techs, and laundry staff on assigned shifts.
• Oversee laundry operations, quality control, and infection prevention compliance.
• Inspect patient rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC, and other regulations.
• Coordinate daily staffing and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Report departmental performance and issues to Manager/Director.
• Train new staff and enforce policies and competencies.
