Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to clean patient rooms, nursing units, clinical areas, offices, lounges, lobbies, waiting areas and restrooms. You will be expected to be pleasant and courteous to patients, families, staff and visitors at all times.

Essential duties include routine cleaning, restocking linens, disinfecting spaces, refilling supplies, and proper waste disposal while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a commercial housekeeping role.
• Must have proof of High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Ensure adequate linens are available in the facility.
• Clean areas with disinfectants to maintain hygiene.
• Refill supplies such as paper products and soap.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep, and manage trash disposal.
• Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste following policy.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety procedures.
