Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager 2 for Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. This hands-on leader will oversee a team of about 15 housekeepers on the 1st shift, with some weekends/holidays required, reporting to the General Manager.

You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and uphold high standards for safety, compliance, and efficiency in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of management experience required.
• 2 years of related environmental services/custodial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of ~15 housekeepers on 1st shift with some weekends/holidays.
• Oversee daily operations, guide team development, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct performance evaluations, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions.
• Influence and negotiate with parts of the organization to achieve results.
• Partner with the General Manager to maintain high cleanliness standards.
