Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 to oversee the operations and lead a team of housekeepers on the 2nd shift at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham located in Needham, MA.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, directing daily activities for a large frontline team and partnering across departments to ensure clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in facilities or related field.
• 2+ years management experience in environmental services or custodial settings.
• Experience leading frontline teams, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and resource planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and supervise a 29‑member housekeeping team and 2 managers.
• Manage daily environmental services activities for a 73‑bed hospital campus.
• Set direction, evaluate performance, and coordinate scheduling and training.
• Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across shifts.
