Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cambridge is seeking an Environmental Services professional to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and common areas in a hospital setting. The role requires following infection prevention standards and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure safety and sanitation throughout shifts.

The position is onsite at 1575 Cambridge Street with a 40-hour work week, day shift, and a pay range of $20.84–$29.79 hourly.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals/healthcare centers.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: infection prevention standards, collaboration across disciplines, and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, offices, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Performs high-level cleaning in clinical and sterile areas without supervision.
• Serves as a resource on environmental services matters and supports process improvements.
