Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation in Boston is seeking a dedicated environmental services teammate to clean, sanitize, and maintain patient and non-patient areas in line with infection control guidelines.

The role involves operating floor machines and buffers, disposing of waste, moving supplies, and supporting a safe, sanitary hospital environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; 0–1 year experience is acceptable. Per diem, onsite, day shift, $17.71–$22.15 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with infection control guidelines and schedules.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Cleans and services assigned areas per established procedures.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Operates floor machines and buffers as assigned.
• Attends a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient and non-patient areas at all times.
