The role focuses on staff development, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with nursing and administration to support daily facility operations and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Environmental Services experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
• Experience supervising staff, scheduling, and coordinating daily assignments.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and infection prevention practices.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements in healthcare.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and maintain high standards in a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations ensuring cleanliness, sanitation and safety.
• Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and motivate Environmental Services staff.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and infection prevention protocols.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct routine inspections.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and inventory; monitor costs and PAR levels.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and preventative maintenance programs.
• Identify improvements and maintain survey readiness; partner with other departments.
