Job summary

Panacea Health Corp is seeking an Environmental Services Director to lead the housekeeping operations across the facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in compliance with state and federal standards.

The role requires planning, organizing, and directing the department, overseeing staff, safety, sanitation, and equipment, and fostering a team-oriented culture aligned with SHARE values, with opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• 3 years experience and previous healthcare environmental services experience.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the housekeeping department in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Oversee administrative, committee, personnel, staff development, safety and sanitation, and equipment functions.
• Maintain liaison with other department supervisors and participate in educational programs.

Requirements of the Environmental Services Director:

Responsibilities of the Environmental Services Director:

The primary purpose of your position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards guidelines, and regulations governing our Facility and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our Facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• Works in office areas as well as throughout the housekeeping service areas (i.e., resident rooms, therapy rooms, dietary, etc.).
• Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies or personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.
• Communicates with housekeeping personnel and other department directors.
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
• Maintains a liaison with other department supervisors to adequately plan for housekeeping services or activities.
