Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, families, and visitors. You will clean patient areas, support linen services, and assist with routine and specialty cleaning tasks while following infection prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• There are no specific education or experience requirements for appointment to this title.
• Candidates must be able to speak and write English.
• Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school or institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the organization
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, treatment areas, public spaces, offices, and other assigned locations
• Support infection prevention efforts by following established cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Perform linen distribution, collection, and related services
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining specialized and sterile areas as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Support outdoor maintenance activities, including lawn care and snow removal when required
• Complete specialty cleaning assignments and other environmental services tasks as directed
• Contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and team members through reliable and high-quality service
