Qualifications

• There are no specific education or experience requirements for appointment to this title.
• Candidates must be able to speak and write English to be eligible for appointment.
• Experience in environmental services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the organization.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, treatment areas, public spaces, and offices.
• Support infection prevention by following cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Perform linen distribution, collection, and related services.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining specialized and sterile areas as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Support outdoor maintenance activities, including lawn care and snow removal when required.
• Complete specialty cleaning assignments and other environmental tasks as directed.
• Contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and team members through reliable service.
