Job summary

Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship. The program provides hands-on exposure to enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives in a healthcare setting.

Interns will work with risk professionals and business leaders to support governance, reporting, and risk assessments while developing critical analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at least part-time or full-time and pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise risk reporting and documentation for the Enterprise Risk Strategy team.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends to inform risk assessments and governance.
• Assist with risk taxonomy development and data maintenance for reporting tools.
• Prepare presentations and executive-facing materials for risk governance.
• Contribute to strategic projects across Enterprise Risk & Governance and related areas.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills in risk management and business processes.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in mentorship and learning opportunities.
