Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking an experienced Senior Project & Client Manager to lead complex building engineering projects and strengthen relationships with healthcare clients. The role blends technical project leadership, client engagement, and business development to influence facility improvements and grow a diverse engineering services portfolio.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience in the built environment.
• 10+ years of engineering/building systems experience.
• Proven success managing medium-to-large engineering projects with multiple teams.
• Experience developing client relationships and contributing to account growth.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, resource planning, profitability, and risk mitigation skills.
• Experience preparing project estimates, developing proposals, negotiating scope, and managing contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organization; PE registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct multidisciplinary engineering engagements from planning through delivery.
• Lead as primary relationship owner for healthcare clients with responsive communication and execution.
• Coordinate engineers, PMs, architects, and construction stakeholders to align resources and schedules.
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, scope changes, invoicing, and risk to protect outcomes.
• Lead estimates, fee development, proposals, and competitive pursuits with tech and BD teams.
• Guide project reviews and QA to ensure contractual compliance and engineering excellence.
• Identify opportunities to expand accounts and introduce additional engineering solutions.
