Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Healthcare Eligibility Specialist for our client in Macon, GA. This onsite, full-time role supports eligibility determination for program services and handles client interviews, document review, and renewals.

Assignment is 6 months, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $15 per hour. Candidate will maintain confidential records and coordinate with case managers to ensure timely access to services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews and verify eligibility information.
• Review applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Determine eligibility for program services.
• Verify financial, personal, and insurance information.
• Assist clients with applications, renewals, and recertifications.
• Process ADAP and HICP applications.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records.
• Manage assigned caseloads and track renewals and follow-up needs.
• Follow up with clients regarding documentation, applications, and eligibility changes.
• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and organizational policies.
• Coordinate client services with case managers, clinical staff, and community partners.
• Explain program requirements, services, and application processes to clients.
• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
• Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
