The role involves leading design teams, developing construction documents, and ensuring code-compliant, reliable power and lighting systems on-site.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of healthcare project experience, a PE license, NCEES registration, and ABET-accredited degree, with Revit, AutoCAD, MEP, MS Office, and Trace 3D

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years’ related experience as a licensed professional.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, MEP, MS Office Suite, Trace 3D.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and office buildings.
• Directs designers in creating building designs and construction documents.
• Ensures conformance to specifications, codes, and testing requirements.
• Uses CAD/CAE tools to perform engineering tasks.
• Plans normal and emergency power distribution and lighting control systems.
• Leads coordination with other design professionals and teams.
• Complies with NFPA70 (NEC) and industry standards.
