Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking a Temporary Education Coordinator to support the Education Department operations, data management, and staff education for non-clinical hospital staff and community programs.

The role involves maintaining education records, assisting with simulations, coordinating education materials and calendar, and providing AV support for classrooms and meetings. Associate degree in business is preferred; two years of clerical healthcare experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree in business/related field preferred.
• Two years clerical office experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience using multiple computer programs (HealthStream, API).
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Health education operations background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain education records and data management in Education Tracking system.
• Provide education to non-clinical staff and assist with simulation activities.
• Coordinate education materials, calendars, and class postings.
• Support AHA coordination including scheduling classes and instructor tracking.
• Assist Nurse Navigator with class materials for Joint Replacement program.
