Job summary

Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center Merced is seeking an Education Professional to plan, coordinate, and deliver essential healthcare education and training programs. You will schedule and conduct diverse training sessions, coordinating resources and providing instruction to ensure engaging learning experiences for healthcare professionals and staff.

Requirements include a Master's degree in a related field, at least three years in healthcare education, two years in a supervisory role, and

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of three (3) years of education/healthcare-related experience and two (2) years of work experience in a supervisory role is required.
Previous direct patient care experience is required.

Responsibilities

Creates and defines organizational education, training and development goals and objectives based on evaluation of organizational and individual needs.
Organizes and coordinates resources to deliver education, training and development programs.
Assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs and provide coordination/instruction in educational initiatives.
Engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff with strong organizational and presentation skills.
