Job summary
Mercy Health seeks a Nurse Educator to implement education plans and evaluate outcomes across departments, aligning with annual needs assessments and system nursing strategies. You will collaborate with operational leaders to advance education initiatives, onboarding, RN Residency, preceptor programs, and competency validation to support Magnet and Pathways to Excellence goals.
Ideal candidates hold a BSN with an advanced degree preferred, strong communication, and expertise in learning design
Qualifications
- 4 year/Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Graduate Degree (Masters) preferred
- Nursing or Education specialty
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) from an accredited program)
Responsibilities
- Implement system nursing education and professional development programs across departments and facilities.
- Support evidence-based practice, nursing research efforts, and competency validation.
- Monitor and report program performance (nurse outcomes, HCAHPS, turnover) to improve education impact.
- Collaborate with leadership to align learning content with Magnet/Pathways to Excellence goals.
