Job summary

PrismHR in Arizona is seeking a System Support Associate to implement and maintain EDI feeds, support healthcare data exchanges, and ensure HIPAA compliance. This on-site role requires hands‑on technical work and collaboration with internal teams to keep systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities include configuring EDI integrations, managing SFTP connections, gathering client specifications, testing deployments, and maintaining technical documentation for audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and education.
• Two to Five years of demonstrated experience implementing and supporting EDI, carrier, and vendor file feeds.
• Experience working in a multi-state or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and modify EDI file feeds to support business and operational needs.
• Develop, maintain, and support EDI integrations using programming languages.
• Create, manage, and support secure data transfer connections using SFTP.
• Gathers specifications from the clients, carriers & vendors and delivers the solution that meets the needs presented.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and US healthcare industry standards while managing sensitive patient data.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to support data exchange requirements.
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new or modified EDI feeds.
• Maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support procedures.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing technical documentation and system insight.
• Regular on-site attendance is an essential job function due to the need for secure access to systems, collaboration on sensitive technical matters, participation on operational meetings, and hands‑on involvement.
