Job summary

PrismHR in Arizona is seeking a System Operations Specialist - EDI to serve as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to plan, configure, and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) connections that power benefits enrollment, payroll deductions, and related data feeds.

The role blends facilitation, administration, and project management; you will own end-to-end EDI implementations, lead kickoff calls, maintain documentation, and coordinate cross-functional

Qualifications

• Two to Four years of EDI, benefits administration, HRIS/HR technology, or related client-facing role.
• Working knowledge of EDI file formats and standards (e.g., ANSI X12 834) preferred.
• Experience with multi-state or PEO environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead EDI onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for assigned clients.
• Facilitate file creation with engineer support and maintain connection records.
• Own end-to-end EDI implementations: scoping, testing, go-live, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to keep timelines and milestones.
• Regularly communicate status, risks, and issues to clients and leadership.
