Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Dock Coordinator I to ensure timely receiving, processing, and distribution of supplies and equipment across the hospital.

You will be the main contact for carriers and internal departments, oversee dock operations, verify documents, and help maintain accurate inventory records to support patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of warehousing or dock experience, with basic computer skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years in supply chain warehousing, shipping and receiving, or dock operations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound dock traffic and serve as the primary point of contact for delivery drivers and carriers.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and shipping documentation.
• Inspect deliveries for damage and assist with reporting and resolving shipping discrepancies.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, returns, and repairs with accurate documentation and labeling.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Clinical Engineering, and hospital departments to coordinate the delivery of supplies, equipment, implants, biologics, and medications.
• Support inventory management activities, including stock replenishment, put-away processes, inventory counts, and order distribution.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records through data entry, filing, and documentation retention.
• Assist with reconciliation of open orders and inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and Orlando Health policies while operating warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
