Job summary

Autonomize AI in Austin seeks a Healthcare Discovery Analyst to translate complex healthcare workflows into clear requirements and AI-enabled solutions. You will work directly with customers to understand processes, identify automation opportunities, design future-state workflows, and own requirements from discovery through delivery.

You’ll partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Clinical SMEs, QA, Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to shape practical, compliant, and impactful

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in healthcare business analysis or related role.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating BRDs, workflows, and user stories.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling in healthcare settings.
• Experience designing current-state and future-state workflows using mapping tools.
• Strong client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira and translating business requirements into development work.
• Practical experience using AI tools in professional work.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer and internal discovery sessions to understand objectives, workflows, and success criteria.
• Translate findings into BRDs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Document client applications, data flows, and field-level data mappings for integration design.
• Decompose complex healthcare processes into automatable steps.
• Validate clinical rules with Clinical SMEs and create process maps with tools like Lucidchart/Visio.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare customer-ready deliverables.
