Healthcare Services Group, Inc in Morehead, KY offers a 16-week paid Dining Services Manager in Training program to learn how to manage dining services in a healthcare setting, with hands-on and computer-based training.

As part of the program you will develop the skills to oversee operations, ensure health and safety compliance, train staff, and interact with residents, staff, and guests while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM,CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
