Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Bench/Support Director of Dining Services to lead and support accounts in the Columbus, GA area. You will guide associates, build client relationships, and ensure high-quality food and service across multiple sites.

This role offers exposure to operations across accounts and pathways to a permanent leadership position while upholding food safety and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of foodservice management experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and daily operations.
• High-volume food production or catering experience preferred.
• Healthcare or contract foodservice experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Columbus, GA area.
• Desire to learn, grow, and advance with a leading foodservice company.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support to Morrison accounts in the Columbus, GA area
• Support accounts during leadership openings, transitions, and special projects
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, guests, and department leaders
• Lead, train, and support frontline associates and management teams
• Partner with culinary leadership to provide high-quality food and service
• Assist with budgets, labor, purchasing, and other financial responsibilities
• Support new programs and operational improvements
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and company standards are followed
