Aventura at Oakwood Village is seeking a Shift Supervisor – Dietary Services in Springfield, Ohio. Two openings on AM and PM shifts to ensure nutritious meals are prepared in a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include supervising daily kitchen operations, assisting with production and inventory, maintaining food safety standards, and training staff. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work weekends/holidays as needed.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare dining, food service, or kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and healthcare dining standards.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well with others and support a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Daily Operations: Monitor meal preparation and service to ensure meals are prepared and served according to facility standards.
• Support Kitchen Production: Assist with meal counts, food preparation, storage, labeling, and inventory.
• Maintain Food Safety: Ensure proper sanitation, cleaning schedules, safe food handling, and food temperature controls.
• Lead and Support Staff: Train, guide, and support team members while promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Assist with Compliance: Help maintain required records, logs, and documentation to support healthcare food service standards and CMS requirements.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Use computers to update reports and complete required documentation.
• Communicate Effectively: Work closely with the Dining Manager, dietary staff, and other departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Perform Additional Duties: Assist with ordering, inventory, and keeping the kitchen clean and inspection-ready.
