Xtensys is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands-on IT support within a healthcare environment in Ithaca, NY. You will troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues in call center, remote, and onsite settings, under the Desktop Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop or service desk support in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, IAM, and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 apps; basic IAM concepts.
• Experience with Epic or other healthcare applications preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service in fast-paced clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues for end users in a healthcare setting.
• Provide one-on-one user support and follow up to ensure problems are resolved.
• Configure and deploy PCs, software, and peripherals per policy.
• Assist with application software access requests via the ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate ticket records and report on work status.
• Collaborate with Desktop Support team and vendors as needed.
