Job summary

Stantec's San Francisco Healthcare team seeks an Architect to lead design through validation, design development, and construction administration. Collaborate with PMs and design leaders to drive BIM-enabled solutions for acute and sub-acute healthcare facilities.

You will coordinate with consultants, owners and contractors, guiding space planning, design critiques, and documentation while upholding accessibility and code compliance. A California license and healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Licensed Architect in California is required.
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare or institutional projects.
• LEED credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide a design team through all phases of design and construction.
• Coordinate with PMs, design leaders, consultants, contractors and owners.
• Lead design concept development, space planning and adjacencies.
• Ensure design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.
• Lead teams on medium to large projects and conduct design critiques.
