Job summary

CVS Health’s Advanced Automation and Optimization team seeks a data analyst to track how in-house and vendor data science products influence clinical and operational outcomes. You will develop deep knowledge of clinical data, build reusable assets, and create dashboards for data quality and insights.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years applying advanced analytics, BI, and data wrangling to automate clinical workflows; strong coding and software development experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years applying analytics to healthcare or business questions using data, analysis and automation.
• 1+ years SQL and Python to pull, clean, prepare and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep working knowledge of clinical and operational data for healthcare problems.
• Build reusable data assets—tables, views, derived features—that are well documented for analysts and data scientists.
• Create queries, dashboards, and visualizations to surface data quality, availability, and clinical insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bridge clinical concepts with analytical frameworks for stakeholders to understand data capabilities.
• Build analysis pipelines applying statistical methods to identify drivers behind outcomes.
• Partner with data engineering on pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data for analytics needs.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis as required.
