CVS Health is seeking a Decision Scientist (Automation & Optimization) to support the Advanced Automation and Optimization team. This remote role focuses on healthcare analytics, building reusable data assets, and delivering dashboards that drive clinical and operational insights for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in applied analytics with SQL and Python, experience in healthcare data, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in applied analytics to solve healthcare or other business questions using data, analysis and automation.
1+ years of experience with SQL and Python to pull, clean, prepare and analyze data.

Responsibilities

Develop deep working knowledge of clinical and operational data and how it can be applied to healthcare problems.
Build reusable, validated data assets — tables, views, and derived features — with thorough documentation.
Create queries, dashboards and visualizations that surface data quality, availability, and clinical insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
Bridge clinical concepts and analytical frameworks to help partners understand data capabilities and limits.
Develop analysis pipelines applying statistical methods to identify drivers behind outcomes and partner with data engineering on pipelines.
