Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a data analytics professional to track and understand how in-house data science products influence clinical and operational outcomes. You will build validated data assets, develop dashboards, and bridge clinical concepts with analytics to enable business decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Advanced Automation and Optimization team, mentorship, and exposure to large-scale healthcare datasets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in applied analytics to solve healthcare or business questions using data, analysis and automation.
• 1+ years of experience with combination of work or academia using SQL and Python to pull, clean, prepare and analyze data.
• 3+ years of experience applying advanced analytics, business intelligence and data wrangling to assist automation in clinical space.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep working knowledge of clinical and operational data and how it's structured.
• Build reusable data assets—tables, views, derived features—documented for independent use by analysts and data scientists.
• Create queries, dashboards and visualizations surface data quality, availability and clinical insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bridge between clinical concepts and analytical frameworks to explain data capabilities to business partners.
• Build analysis pipelines applying statistical methods to identify drivers of clinical and operational outcomes.
• Collaborate with data engineering on pipeline design to ensure proper ingestion, transformation and storage for downstream analytics.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed.
