Job summary

CVS Health's Advanced Automation and Optimization team seeks a data analytics analyst to track how data science products influence clinical and operational outcomes. You will develop working knowledge of healthcare data and build reusable data assets, dashboards and pipelines.

You will collaborate with data engineering and business partners, perform ad hoc analyses, and help translate clinical concepts into analytical frameworks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of applied analytics solving healthcare or business questions with data, analysis and automation.
• 1+ years of experience with SQL and Python to pull, clean, prepare and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep working knowledge of clinical and operational data and how to apply it to healthcare problems.
• Build reusable, validated data assets - tables, views, derived features - with thorough documentation.
• Create queries, dashboards and visuals to surface data quality, availability and clinical insights.
• Bridge clinical concepts and analytical frameworks for business partners.
• Build analysis pipelines applying statistics to identify drivers of outcomes.
• Collaborate with data engineering on pipeline design for proper data ingestion and storage.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis as required.
