Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company, seeks an experienced Distribution Center Operations Leader to coordinate inbound/outbound, warehousing, shipping and inventory accuracy in line with service and cost objectives. You will direct DC teams, drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and customer service, and ensure regulatory compliance across SOPs and storage requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• 5–10 years in supply chain or warehouse ops, healthcare preferred.
• 5–10 years of leadership, managing 20–30 warehouse employees.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and WMS best practices.
• Excellent financial acumen with prior P&L experience.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to drive change in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs all operations activities and teammates within the DC.
• Provides proactive feedback to Operations Supervisors, coaching and performance feedback.
• Develops and executes initiatives to improve DC metrics and financial performance.
• Reviews and approves DC expenses and makes capital recommendations.
• Leads KPIs in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
• Oversees customer service for the DC and coordinates with Accounts/Corporate Ops.
• Implements onboarding of new customers at the DC for new business.
• Enforces SOPs/WIs for warehouse management and transportation.
• Monitors performance and conducts root-cause analyses to improve operations.
• Oversees succession planning and talent development.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and acts as Designated Representative.
