Job summary

Health First in Florida is seeking a Supply Chain DC Operations Specialist to receive, distribute, restock, and perform cycle counts while delivering high-value service to internal customers across the Health First IDN.

The role focuses on inventory control, ensuring proper locations and quantities, reducing loss, and maintaining compliance with TJC/AHCA policies for medication and supplies delivery within a 78,000 square foot facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One month of prior work experience.
• Driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to operate basic computer systems and handheld terminals.
• Familiarity with inventory management and CQI activities.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to respond quickly to supply availability.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Receives freight and puts away; scans packing slips and oversees restock and cycle counts.
• Develops inventory control procedures for accuracy and proper locations.
• Reduces inventory loss and maintains clean aisles; manages quarantined items.
• Ensures compliance with TJC/AHCA policies for med delivery and storage.
• Performs daily vehicle safety checks and operates handling equipment.
• Manages records in PeopleSoft and supports warehouse processes.
• Keeps record management policies up to date and adheres to procedures.
• Performs additional duties as directed by Distribution leadership.
