CHG Healthcare is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. You will build and ship models that help Sales and other business partners make better, faster decisions, turning raw data into reliable features and explaining results clearly.

You’ll own projects from question to production with light guidance and help teammates grow. As part of an agile environment, you’ll work with data engineers and analysts to deploy models, and you’ll partner with product managers to drive impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience building and validating machine learning or statistical models.
• 3-5 years of Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• 3-5 years of SQL experience writing medium to complex queries.
• Demonstrated experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization tools or libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate machine learning and statistical models that solve defined business problems.
• Explore large datasets to find trends and insights, partner with data engineers to create and refine features.
• Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of data-driven initiatives.
• Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear way that supports decisions.
• Work with engineers, product managers, and business partners in an agile environment to put models into products and processes, following CHG data privacy and security standards.
