Job summary

Premier is seeking a data analytics professional to support the data scientist team in product development and model research. You will apply statistics, programming, data modeling to recognize patterns, pose business questions, and help prototype development and product improvement.

You'll collaborate with data scientists, product engineers, and beta clients to implement methodologies, translate prototypes into new products, and share knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• Coursework around Statistics, Machine Learning
• Proficient in Python
• Healthcare data analytics exposure
• Experience with major healthcare datasets (EHR, claims or billing)
• Exposure to relational databases

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation and Analysis: acquire, assemble and prepare datasets for analytic projects
• Conduct analysis and derive insights from findings; present outcomes to the team
• Methodology design and development: define and document methodologies based on data insights
• Interact with beta client users to incorporate feedback
• Product development implementation: assist with documentation and validation in production
• Knowledge Sharing: mentor peers and share methodologies with clients
