Job summary

Premier, Inc. is seeking a Data Science Intern in Charlotte, NC to support the data scientist team with product development and model research. You will apply statistics, programming, data modeling, and ML techniques to identify opportunities and refine prototypes for new products and services.

You will work with Data Scientists and Product Engineers to translate prototypes into scalable solutions, develop methodologies, and assist in deployment while learning new approaches over time.

Qualifications

• 0 or more years of experience
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Rising junior or senior in Bachelor's degree program; MBA

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation and Analysis: acquire, assemble and prepare datasets; derive insights; interpret findings and present outcomes
• Methodology design and development: data exploration, document methodologies, incorporate feedback from beta users
• Product development implementation: assist with documentation and validate methodologies in production
• Knowledge Sharing: mentor peers and teach methodologies to clients
