Qualifications

• Two years office and/or customer service experience required with knowledge of basic office equipment and computer software programs.
• Healthcare or financial background preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; training or educational background with medical terminology and ICD coding familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Patient Access Supervisor, reviews reports, registrations, and admissions for accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Ensures accounts are complete, accurate and insurance billable; maintains audit processes and communicates findings to the team.
• Creates monthly reports and analyzes trends to identify training and process improvements.
• Manages records to ensure billing criteria are met in a timely manner.
