Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Experienced Patient Accounts Specialist in El Paso, TX. You will manage patient accounts from discharge through reconciliation, handling billing, collections, and validation of charity allowances per payor contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities include timely billing of secondary coverages, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party requirements.

Qualifications

• 6 months health care business office experience or related health care experience.
• High School education or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Total patient account management including billing, collections and reconciliation.
• Ensure charity allowances and/or other coverage are applied as appropriate.
• Bill secondary insurance timely and assign accounts to bad debt as per payor terms.
