Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Commercial Data Insights Analyst to turn complex data into meaningful insights that improve customer outcomes and operational performance. You will bridge business needs with analytical solutions across Technical Support and related service teams.

Expect to develop dashboards, recurring and ad hoc reports, and executive analyses using SQL, Python, and BI tools. You will partner across IT, Data Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to drive data-driven decisions with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in analytics, business, statistics, information systems, economics, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years in Data Analytics, BI, Market Insights, Commercial Analytics, or related discipline.
Proficiency in SQL and/or Python or R for querying and analysis.
Experience with structured operational, commercial, service, CRM, sales, or financial datasets.
Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, summaries, and business recommendations.
Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
Interest in applying generative AI tools to analytical processes.
Strong attention to detail to identify data quality issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present findings.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Bridge business needs and analytical solutions to support data-driven decision-making across Technical Support and related service organizations.
Transform support and service data into actionable insights, requirements, and performance-enhancing recommendations.
Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reporting solutions measuring key metrics (support volume, backlog, response/resolution times, SLA performance).
Evaluate performance across products, customer segments, regions, issue types, channels, priority levels, and service tiers.
Deliver fact-based recommendations to improve support effectiveness, workforce planning, and customer satisfaction.
Translate business challenges into clear requirements for reporting, systems enhancements, and process improvements.
Collaborate with Technical Support leadership, CDIA, IT, Data Engineering, and Reporting teams.
Create executive-ready dashboards, presentations, scorecards, and analyses for reviews and decision making.
Monitor CSAT, NPS, and customer effort to identify improvement opportunities.
Support AI and data science initiatives through data preparation and analysis.
Collaborate across Commercial Analytics to support Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and other areas.
