Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Customer Insights Analyst to transform customer and operational data into clear, actionable insights for our Payer Retrieval business. This role will collect, analyze, and visualize data to identify trends, monitor performance, and help teams understand customer needs and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, customer insights, data analytics, or a related role.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, including Sigma Computing.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Hands-on experience building reports in Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze customer and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Sigma dashboards, recurring reports, and performance summaries.
• Use SQL to retrieve, combine, and analyze data for reporting and decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs and translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses on customer performance, operational outcomes, and business trends.
• Develop presentations and visual stories that communicate complex findings clearly.
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and analytical solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through quantitative analysis.
• Support evaluation of business initiatives by measuring results and impact.
• Document metric definitions and analytical methodologies.
