Datavant is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support its healthcare data platform. You will answer calls, handle inquiries, schedule tasks, and document interactions in our systems, ensuring accuracy and privacy.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, experience with multi-line phones and MS-Office, plus HIPAA awareness and ROI certification. This on-site position sits in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with equal opportunity commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an Accredited Institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education.
• Friendly, professional manner of communication. Good customer service skills.
• Experience with multi-line phone system and MS-Office proficiency.
• Experience in Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims Processing and proof reading/editing.
• Ability to stay organized with strong attention to detail.
• Must pass annual HIPAA examination.
• Must pass 90-day ROI Certification with a score of 85% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 8.5-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM ET based on business needs.
• Answer calls and conduct business with excellent customer service.
• Handle release of information inquiries accurately and timely.
• Review, research, resolve, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence.
• Document calls and resolutions in our software systems.
• Follow department and site procedures and maintain productivity and quality.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with coworkers and management.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and maintain attendance as scheduled.
