Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education.
• Friendly, professional communication and good customer service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system; intermediate/advanced MS-Office proficiency.
• Experience in Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims Processing, and proofreading/editing documents.

Responsibilities

• Answer and conduct business on the telephone with 100% customer service focus.
• Document all calls, inquiries and resolutions in the software systems with detail.
• Review, research, resolve and respond to inquiries via telephone, email or written correspondence.
• Follow department and site procedures; maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism; communicate with management about issues as needed.
